Terms of Service

The service

MoonMapped (moonmapped.com) is operated by Rahul, Delhi, India. It calculates a Vedic astrology birth chart from the birth date, time and place you provide, and generates written interpretations of that chart. A free reading is provided at no cost; deeper content on specific life areas, question answers, and a synthesis report are available for purchase.

Who may use MoonMapped

Your date of birth tells us your age. If it is under 18, a parent or guardian must agree before the chart is calculated, and you can use the free chart and reading only.

Paid readings and question packs are for adults (18+). The date of birth you enter is checked, and a date under 18 cannot be used for a purchase. If we learn that a purchase was made in breach of this, we will refund it and delete the associated data.

Accounts are optional

You can use MoonMapped without an account. Your purchases are then linked to the browser you used, through an anonymous session identifier stored in it. You can also sign in with Google, which links your purchases and birth details to your Google account instead. This means:

• Signed in with Google: sign in on any browser or device to open what you've paid for.
• Not signed in: clearing your browser's data, switching browsers or switching devices disconnects that browser from its purchases. You can sign in with Google from the original browser to keep them, or restore them in a new browser with the payment ID from your Razorpay receipt email and the email or phone you paid with, using “Paid on another device, or nothing unlocked?”.
• A refunded purchase no longer unlocks anything, so its payment ID cannot restore it.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service to harass, defame or impersonate anyone.
• Attempt to circumvent payment, access controls or rate limits.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer or resell the service's content in bulk.
• Submit a child's birth details without a parent or guardian's agreement, or misstate a date of birth to get past the age check.

Nature of the content

Everything MoonMapped produces is provided for reflection and informational purposes. It is generated from a deterministic astrological calculation and a fixed interpretation layer, then phrased into readable language. It is not a guarantee, prediction of certainty, or professional advice of any kind: see our Disclaimer for detail.

Payments

Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card details. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

Limitation of liability

MoonMapped is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made based on content generated by the service, or for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from its use. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product changes. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
